Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma: Proliferation Centers At low power, these proliferation centers could be mistaken for follicles. The proliferation center is vague and not well defined. The larger cells, the prolymphocytes and paraimmunoblasts, are the characteristic cells of the proliferation center.
